Wendy: Oh, yes! Drawing these illustrations for my blog keeps me from spending actual money on clothes, though if you think of it in terms of billable hours, this blog is much more expensive than any clothes I would normally buy, haha. Still, I love drawing it, and there's a lot to be said for clothes unbounded by budget or reality. :)

Hi Angie,
Amazing creative style you have. Just love that cape...Somehow, to be enveloped in a cape is so comforting and defensive at the same time. Also love the handbag...you could not argue with that bag!!
I just want you to know I saw your comment on the "financial" discussion on the Independent Fashion Blogger site. I was relieved to see that someone else besides me had money challenges, thought I was the only one. I love fabric and the magic of garments and glad to see others who hold up the core of clothes with or without money. Go, creative types!

this is very brilliant, I love how you very sparingly applied the ruffles to the sheer fabric-- completely amazing and unexpected. The shape of the cape is also very innovative.
